The group filed discrimination charges with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission, which claimed Blaine had violated the city’s fairness ordinance—which prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation in employment, housing and public accommodations. Adamson maintains he was only expressing his religious beliefs. “I will work with any person, no matter who they are, and no matter what their belief systems are,” he said in a press conference Friday....

Kenya has set up an independent commission to look into claims about athletes using performance-enhancing drugs, the country’s sports commissioner Gordon Oluoch said on Monday. The decision came after the east African nation was heavily criticised for failing to hold an independent investigation following a German media report last year alleging widespread doping among Kenyan athletes at high-altitude training camps. “The National Olympic Committee (NOCK) in consultation with the government has appointed a task force to investigate the doping allegations against the Kenyan athletes,” Oluoch told AFP....

Kevin Ward Jr. was sent into the wall when his car was bumped by Stewart’s in a dirt-track race Saturday night at Canandaigua Motorsports Park in upstate New York. Ward got out of his car and walked onto the track, where he was hit by Stewart’s car and killed.
